Belief in a deity or a saviour isn't a requirement in Buddhism, only acceptance of the four noble truths. We all have a right to be happy. Therefore, I pray that we respect each other's religious preferences. Whether there is a god and by what name he or she goes by isn't of importance. It's more important to live your belief than to shout it out. Afterall, words are cheap.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6). He did a big favor for you by dying for your sins. The Bible says that everyone has sinned and deserves eternal punishment, but God did not want to leave you hanging because He loves you (John 3:16-17). The Bible says you need to turn to Jesus and repent of your sins to be saved (John 3). This is not religion but reality. If you are saved, you live differently through the Holy Spirit (I John). Please read the Bible to see for yourself, John and Romans are good books to start.

Dear God, I am a firm believer and have faith in you. My preyer is a well familiar one, since i have been preying to you for more than 2 weeks now. Mom is still on the respirator and her condition is worsening day by day, and new problems are coming forth the longer she remains hooked to the machines. At this time, her kidneys are dying and her heart is fighting the physical trauma as much it can. I'm afraid that she will soon tire and just stop fighting for her life, just give in and surrender to you. If that's her faith then so be it. But if she is meant to live, then please heal her soon. Regrdless, I just want the suffering to end. I know that you are her doctor now and that the final word is yours, but please make your decision soon: heaven or the physical world. However you decide, the reward is good: she being in heaven as an angel or returning to us in the physical world. I will travel the world all around, but will never find a mother like her. I still need her: her wise words, friendly chats, hand-prepared foods, and encouraging thoughts and wishes. She is my best friend. If you do take her dear lord, I will understand, but will miss her dearly and forever. Amen
