May they learn to see that truth are eternal non changing truth, the Dhamma, universal values that are shared. The rest are mere outward practice leading to the truth as expressed by their religion. Most gracious and heavenly father, I want to thank you today for your mercy and grace in my life. Thank you for waking me and my family up this morning and starting us on our way. Thank you for our safe journies to and fro. Thank you for allowing us to break bread again tonight, not breaking the family circle. Thank you for protecting us from what we can't see. My friend up above, my merciful teacher and savior. I know that Jesus is the son God and that God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that whosoever believed in him would have eternal life. I confess my belief with my mouth and pray that it is acceptable in your eyes. I've been praying for the lost souls and their surviving loved ones from the September 11th tragedies. I believe you have our attention. I know you have mine! I pray that President Bush is a god-fearing christian and that he listens when you speak and follows direction only from you. I pray that we as a country won't resort to our spoiled, foolish, self-serving ways. That we won't get back to life as we once knew it, for our lives have changed drastically. I'm praying without ceasing. I'm praying for our military, praying for their families, praying for the members of the White House and all other affilitated world decision makers. I wake up with you, the Lord God on my mind, I study the word every chance I get. I pray for forgiveness for I am a sinner just like all the rest of your children. Have mercy on us as a nation. Have mercy on me. I cry because I'm humbled and overwhelmed. I cry because I know that in spite of the maginitude of this tragedy and the horrible things that happened, there are some things didn't happen. It was God's grace and mercy that kept additional disaster from taking place. As we all know, there was a much greater plan of destruction. Open our eyes and help those that are blind to see. Help them to see that it is only through you that eternal life is guaranteed. I love you with all that I am. Continue to use me as you see fit. These blessings I ask in your name, AMEN.

I pray for peace for all victims' families, friends and loved ones; for the health, strength and stamina of the rescue workers and other unsung heros; and for the souls of those lost in Tuesday's tragic terrorism. I pray for anyone left alive in the rubble to hold on - and be found. I pray for peace in the world instead of war: that we may find a solution to this horrific challenge that does not include killing more innocent people. The terrorists must be stopped, but may we come up with a plan whereby more violence doesn't create more violence. How can we do that?!? I pray that no one else is injured in further attacks. I pray for healing in all people who this tragedy has affected. I pray for people to come together in love and friendship and acceptance. May we use this as a lesson, to go out in the world in LOVE instead of hate. The New Yorkers are a wonderful example of faith, strength and lovingkindness. They should be commended. We should line the streets, stand up and applaud for them all!!! May we be united, forget our differences, and move forward as one people (regardless of color, religion, or national origin.) I especially pray that we don't create counter-racism by assuming all Hindus are intolerant terrorists, and also that anyone considering more violent attacks reconsider and make a life change. My number one prayer request is that I am some how able to pay my bills and continue my education with out loosing my apartment and car. I come from a very dysfunctional family and I attend school and work full time to survive. The problem came when I was laied off from my factory job. It has been about five months and I haven't found a job yet. Its depressing My parents won't help the way I think they should. It seems that the only person I can depend on is my girlfriend who I love very much but whom i don't want to hold back from her dreams by continuing to borrow money from her. I love her with all my heart but I rather be alone than to keep living off of her and her parents my pride is all but gone and I am surviving on the barest necessities. I want all to pray that god's mercy be upon me so I can find a job and some how pay my rent and pass my college classes. Thanks to all who will pray for me.

How can we as humans possibly earn salvation by ourselves? We who are prideful,grasping,selfish,and lustful at heart? You who created the stars in the sky and the beasts of the deep;Who knit our bones together in our mother's womb;how dare we raise our fists to You and cry "I'll save myself!" Oh Lord,I pray that these lost souls would know that You love them so much;that You love them tenderly,as a mother with her rebellious children. Prayer is the precursor to enlightened action, movement of no movement - prayer is the moment before and after all moments in reflection. Prayer is thought made conscious, the step of making conscious thought manifest is indeed in the hands of humans - sometimes prayer is a request made (misguided or in purest intent) due to inability or extreme pain on the part of the one who prays - they turn to silent prayer because it has no longer been acceptable to turn to our brothers and sisters - because the response given them is "Help yourself" Prayers offered forth for forgiveness, compassion - aho, and may Humankind, each face of Humankind, realize that the weaknesses they see reflected at them are phantoms of their own pain and need. Prayers offered forth for those who CAN HELP to realize that they are answering a prayer everytime they do. Prayers offered forth that we begin to truly realize what it means to love one another, and that we let go of our need to dominate one another through mental and physical manipulation.
