I pray that in this new year I will get the strength to cope with stress and overcome my anxiety. I pray that I will continue to do well in school. I pray that my relationship with my girlfriend will be restored and at peace to bring both of us lots of love and happiness. For my mother I pray that she receives good health. I am pryaing to thank you for the man you sent into my life - although he is on the other side of the world right now, I have never felt closer to anyone as I do to him. When I am with him, I feel the most amazing calmness, I was taught so much about being good and kind to others by just watching his example, he makes me smile, and he shares my passion in life, which is to travel the world. I am scared that he disappear from my life, but I decided that this will not deter me from grasping the opportunity to share the magic and the joys of life with him while it is still possible. And if he is no longer there, I will be a thousand times the richer and he will forever be apart of me and I of him ...THANK YOU FOR THIS GIFT.

Like they are doing to our schools.People tell us that the sex and violence on Tv is ok and if we don't like it change the channel. Lord Jesus I ask that they don't listen if they do not like our prayer. Thank you Jesus for the gift of prayer and the freedom to pray. I would like to send out a prayer to all who have had the courage to share their personal prayers with us upon this page. May the Tao, mother of ten thousand things, guide all no matter what their spiritual or philosophical beliefs. May I improve myself daily, and help others to do so. To me it does not matter what path anyone follows, as I have found truth in all religions and philosophies - all that matters is that it is true to you. For all those who suffer, I hope their suffering ends soon and they learn how strong they are for surviving. For those who perform evil deeds, I hope that they can repent and learn from their mistakes. May the intolerant learn the nature of those they oppress and use their intolerance as a path of personal devotion to their beliefs and not as a weapon against others. Many thanks, Great Lady, for Your gifts of insight, strength, and self-respect. With Your help, i took a chance last weekend and met someone who initially seemed as if they had the potential of being the answer to a long-held prayer. Upon looking closer, it became clear it would have been yet another compromise, simply to avoid remaining alone. And so, have chosen to turn aside. Instead of a loss, this is a victory, despite dissappointment, because i was able dare risk, and to be honest, with the gentleman in question, but especially with my self. Dear Goddess, i'm still tired of being alone, and still more than anything simply want someone to love who can honestly love me back, and still want Your help in bringing that into my life as something healthy and genuine. But nothing less than just that: healthy, and REAL. This thing wouldn't have been. Rather than throw caution to the wind and pursue it regardless, and end up hurting again, myself, and possibly him as well, thank You for helping me to see clearly, and choose more wisely. Thank you for helping summon the courage for making this decision, in spite of this sometimes overwhelming loneliness for that special kind of love. There are indeed worse things than being alone. This was something that needed to be learned, and worth the price in pain to do it. Thank You. Thank you for dear friends, gifts, talents, prosperity and growth. Help me to offer it all back to the world, freely and with unselfconcious love. May all beings know happiness, and the causes of happiness. May all beings be freed from suffering, and the causes of suffering. Be it so.

Great, Gracious Lady, an opportunity has arisen for me to get to know a new gentleman friend, and i ask Your help. I need prayers for help. Today at work, 300 dollars was discovered missing from over the weekend out of a sum that i dealt with Friday. I left it exactly as it was supposed to be Friday night at quitting time, and somewhere over the weekend it came up missing. I did nothing wrong, but fear that my reputation is at risk, nonetheless. This is kind of selfish when compared to all the other ills in the world that need our focus, but, all i ask is that my good name be cleared, the matter resolved, and the missing money accounted for. But maybe it's o.k. to ask for help for small matters as well as large, too. And so i come here to ask whatever powers that be for help with this thing. Whatever belief you hold, please pray for me.

Praying for my heart to open wide to the world once again, to be full and happy and clear as once I was when I thought myself to be loved. To realize the lesson behind becoming aware that I was more peaceful before I had hopes of someone loving me, and stay with that awareness. To love and accept myself just as I am, so that I am genuinely able to love others unconditionally. Not "getting" this fully is more than likely the reason why I'm still alone. I'm oh, so tired of this loneliness. And so sad and full of regret over my failures. There was a time i was giving so freely-may i once more be open to giving to others in this way-human, plant and animal-all freely, without thinking. I'm oh, so tired of falling back into sadness despite all efforts to pull out of it, forget about it, work around it, and can't seem to move away from this pattern right now, no matter how hard I try. It's such an awful, hollow, scary feeling. And so I ask, gracious lady Tara, before all this company, for your help. Let it be so in order that I may give freely of all that is given me for the benefit of all beings, as I know you would have me do. May all beings be blessed with happiness, and the causes of happiness, and freed from suffering, and the causes for suffering. May we all simply come to love one another, and by this, realize enlightenment. May it be so.

In the midst of a very happy, full life, there is sadness from having lost a good friend thru insecurity and grasping. My prayer is for forgiveness-wishing that this lost friend will forgive me, and maybe even be friends again someday, and that i continue to learn to forgive myself, for this and other failures. May i learn from this loss, so that this mistake will not be repeated again. And may i continue to grow in using the talents i was blessed with to give to others, rather than being self-obsessed, as i have been so very often. Getting thin and beautiful and stopping smoking is of little consequence in light of all the things that really do matter: healing Mother Earth and loving all beings, and helping where it's possible to help. I would like to pray for my father, to realise the impact of his actions on others and to repent all the pain he has inflicted on my life and my mothers. I wish for Buddha to give me the strength of character to forigve him and to move towards a fruitful and loving relationship with him. I would also like for my friend Sue to be remembered in this prayer as someone who taught me the right way to express love for my family and the importance of true and lasting friendship. I pray that out of this chaos will come a lasting peace and a new way of being in the world. Maybe I have to go through this storm to find a true calm. The old peace was not real. I was just avoiding the truth in order to have the illusion of peace. Now that I am facing the truth and wrestling with myself and trying to get rid old demons maybe, eventually i will come to a place where truth and peace can live together. This is my prayer.
