Alex, I pray that you will find your peace and come to see that there is no action that is unforgivable in the eyes of the universe. The key to curing a tormented soul is to forgive yourself. My love and compassion goes out to you, feel it's unconditional strength and forgive yourself for your ignorant actions, but as all things are balanced, you must also praise yourself for having the strength to accept responsibility and the wisdom to know that what you have done has had repercussions that you regret. Learn from that, it is all that is asked of you. Forgive yourself, open your heart to yourself and it will open to others and they toward you. We are all worthy, just sometimes we forget this for we judge ourselves harshly by our mistakes and we are not our mistakes, we are innocent beings trying to overcome the hurdles, circumstances and difficulties of life in our search for happiness - sometimes we get it right and sometimes we stuff up. And even when we do stuff up, we can make it right by learning from it,pick up the pieces and acknowledge ourself for the right choices that we have made in this lifetime. Choose now to forgive yourself, choose now to right the error by learning from it no matter how painful, choose love of self and others - I am with you Brother, I send you my love.

I am so thankful that I found Buddhism. I wrote a prayer here a few months ago when I was first studying it and have learned and grown so much since. I am still having some problems in my life, but I am so much calmer since and am practicing meditation. I pray that I can learn even more and practice it all the time. I pray that I can find support in my community since there are no Buddhist temples anywhere around me right now. i ask help in ridding myself of all faults which make me unattractive, from my weight, to my smoking, to my self-conciousness and anxiety. i ask help to find enough self discipline to conquer all of these things, so i can finally forget myself and simply be. And in so doing, be able to be happy again, and able to give freely again. And once i am worthy and able to be genuinely an equal partner, let me finally have a good, healthy relationship with someone wonderful. I found a lump last Friday. The doctor's trying to get me for an mammogram as an emergency case but things seem to be booked solid. Oh Lord...please help me Lord.When the first i saw him i was just don't have any feelings on him but suddenly getting long and longer i have this very strong feelings in him until i sacrifice my Sunday school lesson.I quit my Sunday school lesson.I don't know should i pray for this or should i straight away talk to him because we don't know each other.Or should i just forget him?.He don't know that i have feelings on him.When First i wnet into the church,he appears in front of me.He seats in front of me.Then i started to think about him.Then one fine day,i cut my hair into short hair,he suddenly dissapeaar from my eyes after that day.i meant he started to sit with his younger sister.I'm not sure that he has feeling on me.Because he always came late the church service.So he sit's infront of me with his parents.LORD i hope that we can get toghether.The problems in him is maybe he like slim and tall kind of girl.LORD i hope one fine day i'll cross his mind.LORD please BLESS me and him to be together LORD.

Being very grateful for learning to be happy alone, my wish now is to be granted the opportunity to learn to be happy in a wholesome partnership, with whomever is a good and fitting partner. Years ago in an effort to learn to be happy solo, part of what i did was to make myself perceive this wanting to love and be loved back by a partner as a weakness, while at the same time i never really let go of wanting it at all. Even though i did learn to love the rest of my life just as it is, this holding on in both directions with this one issue has generated a lot of harmful confusion for me. My prayer now is to let go of that negative judgement; and also to let go of this secretly aching want of mine-and above all, to let go of thinking i need to be perfect in order to be loved. i'm grateful for the ability to recognise these blockages, and for wanting to generate some determination for working with them rather than continuing to fight them and beat myself up some more for failing to do the impossible. Don't know how for sure, all i can do right now is be willing. Now in acknowledging and voicing these things i hope to be able to let go of them, and simply live. Thanks and richest blessings to Pema Chodron, and others whose writings have helped me figure out some of this, anyway. And to some wonderful people more directly involved in my life who have taught me so much. And now that i'm done with voicing all this focus on self, let the direct result of this learning be a much greater ability to give love and help to all other beings. May we all know that we are loved, blessed, and worthy. May we all open up and give to one another. May we all realize enlightenment.

Tired of depression and frustration, and am constantly searching inwardly for the reason that my hopes and dreams have been put to sleep while my spirit seems trapped somewhere outside of myself. I sit and read the prayers from around the nation and naturally I have sympathy for many. We must realize that our lives take place in an entirely comfortable realm. Many Americans have no real, concrete problems, but the terrible monotone routine of American life causes us to create false problems and disturbances (depression). My message is that before you ask for our prayer and pity, go and help the people that are living in a far worse condition but don't even have opportunity to express their hardships. Doing this could give a new perspective and clear your mind of all the torturous, depressing, but irrational thoughts. One more thing: pay no heed to the fanatical over zealous Christians. It is too bad to see people so obsessed that they actually become hypocritical.
