Hey

Is there anyone out there that checks this forum? I used to frequent this site years ago, and it looks kinda slow now.

Yes, it is just picking up speed. Spread the word that the site forum is back.
The forum should be getting more Taoism topics as soon as you start posting topics about taoism.
So I would suggest that you post your understanding of Tao, or start a few taoist topics and wait for other
members to join. The search engines should pick up your conversation and get others to join too.

D'you think the lack of activity is because of lack of members, or that people don't know the forum is back up and running? I'm a newbie here btw, so hi! Also pretty much a newbie Taoist, so I'm sorry in advance if you guys have to keep saying "Where the hell did you get that idea from?".

I'm a big fan of "An Idiot's Guide To Taoism", which is very clear and precise. It's also full of references for more Tao information, and is actually the way I found this site! Aside from that I can't really help.

Hi I used to visit years ago too, then the boards got hacked or something, and went down. I've recently found I need to get back to more spiritual/philosophical matters in my life and daoism is one of those ways.
