Power

One of the scientific laws of nature is that energy = mass * speed of light (squared). e=mc^2. In other words, you can change energy into mass, and mass into energy (well at least that is how the values will equate to IF they are changed from one from to another). It can be asserted that energy is created from mass, or you can say that the energy from matter is transferred into energy when it is changed into energy. So is energy created or transferred? If the matter dissappears then you can say matter was destroyed, and energy is created. If the energy is transferred, you can say matter is transformed into energy, and was never destroyed. In any case, the details get less fuzzy as you look at it from a scientific viewpoint and are not trapped by grammar and its useage (definition of nouns). As you take objects and speed it up (lets say a cube of ice), it becomes liquid, then gas, then as you speed it up, the protons and neutrons and electrons don't hold it together, and at some point it becomes pure energy (well, the neutrons, and protons may break up into waves of smaller components). If you take solar energy from the sun, and you slow it down, will it become mass?

But the main topic here is power, not the equation that einstein provided for the world. Power in the sense of people power. I will not go into a lot of detail, but simply state the question (after reading about the above)... Is it true power can only be transferred and not be created? If it can only be transferred that means you cannot get power unless someone gives the power to you. Of course, this will get into the questions of "what type of power can you transfer?"
