Ludwig von Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 Movement 2 is considered a pinnacle work of musical art. It is the first and probably the only piece of work by Beethoven that delves into the deep dark void, but provides an outlet for growth and rising out of that state to a full orchestra of bliss. This successful rising and growing in intensity is rarely found in classical music and the second movement of Symphony 7 exemplifies it by providing a base for its offshoot. Although you can say that the orchestra increases in volume and intensity as the music is played out, there is a pattern that evokes emotion, an emotion that drives at the primitive soul. Perhaps Beethoven wrote the piece to overcome difficulty, as the beginning provides a somber mood that probably showed his state of mind that requires conquering and release. Of all of Beethoven's pieces, this piece I think is the most emotional and can connect with the emotional soul, but only if you are in a ready state of mind. It has to be experienced personally to enjoy the piece.
